I really love dancing!!
July 8, 2007 I think I was around 4 or 5 years old when I found my love for dancing, I used to join dancing contests back then whenever there are fiestas or other celebrations, even if its by group or solo, I just did it.. even if I win or lose.. hah! There is this one time, I think I was around 4 back then, it was a fiesta, I really want to join my cousin and her friends coz' they're supposed to dance to this song "How Gee!!" I dunno if you guys are familiar with it.. anyway, my aunts and even my mom, agreed that I should wear this freaking hawaiian costume and dance to the tune of "Pearly Shell"!! SOLO!! Geez! can you believe that?! I am a guy and I am dancing to this hawaiian thingy… I dunno how they convinced me to do it!? Hmm.. I think it was the price money coz' they told me that I would surely win… Haha!! I guess you all know what the result is?! heh.. I won!! of course.. But the shame!! the shame!! I was really thankful that it was about 17 years ago!! The people who've seen me don't remember that event anymore… Or maybe they do? OMGWTF!!
Haha.. I still can remember the songs I used to dance on to back then.. some of them are from MC Hammer, To Legit To Quit, uhmm… Some songs from Michael Jackson, although I can't really do moves like his, even now.. heh! Ice Ice Baby, Macarena, Boom Shalalala BOom!! hehe I can't remember its title, Beautiful Life, Umm Bop i think this one's from The Moffats, then songs from Christina Aguillera, I also know Pepito, heh.. I think the street boys danced this, I was on grade 6 back then when I've learned and danced this.
When I've reached highschool, I dun really have the guts to join dance contests anymore, I mean Its kinda hard for me coz' im kinda chubby and dances then where doing tic tac.. more on tumbling and gymnast moves, so I'm not really up for it.. But still dancing finds me a way, heh.. I just joined some interpretative dance contests, costumes, make ups, and so on..
Then when I've reached college, of course dancing still finds a way, We've joined a dance contest, I think that was Language Week (Linggo ng Wika) geez!! we were freshmen back then, the other competitors were fully costumed and doing their dance with props, I mean we did'nt have any idea that it should be like that, coz the rules on the bulletin boards were like "You should dance a modern dance into an ancient or folk dance or vice versa" I'm not really sure about it, anyway, we've danced to a Gary Valenciano song, I forgot its title, I think it was a praise and worship song "Yahweh ang Sayaw" or somethin like that, and It has a nice beat into it… We just wore T-shirts and pants back then, while the other competitors wore somewhat baro't saya, then the other one has this something like igorot style costume.. but of course even though we don't have costumes and stuff we won second place.. hah!! can you believe that!! And then other dances followed like Crazy In Love, then Parokya Ni Edgar's First day Funk.. Well, some of it didn't pushed through as planned in some of the programs but hey! I've learned some new dance moves.. that's the most important thing right?!
By the way this topic is because of this video that I've seen a while ago!! haha… Just don't mind all the things that I've said above, and watch this damn video!!
Maybe someday when I lost my passion for programming I'll just shift my career to being a dance instructor haha!!
:P

You should post a pic of you wearing the Hawaiian costume. XD
I can’t imagine a guy dancing Pearly Shell, let alone wearing a hula skirt.
Go don romantiko!
