Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

I've been longing to watch harry potter and the order of the phoenix, since january this year, and so I have…  Yesterday, at the SM Mall of Asia, my month long dream has come to a reality… To watch the fifth installment of the Harry Potter Series…  Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! Har! Har! Har!

Since I've read the Order of the Phoenix, I am already expecting the movie to be somewhat spectacular and would be something like what my imagination have told me while I was reading the fifth Harry Potter book, but I was disappointed, yes! I've said it, I am really disappointed at this movie…

Here is my first comment, the movie became so fast paced that it skipped a lot of scenarios in the book,  for example, there should be a scene in Sirius' Blacks house where in a bogart, (sorry if I spelled it wrong) in a closet or somewhere in there would let Mrs. Weasley see all her family members dead or something like that for all I remember, not really sure about it. Another example are the people on the picture frames that travels from Dumbledor's office to the Order of the Phoenix Headquarters to report what's happening or somethin' like that etc.. There are still a lot of things that happened in the Black's place which are overlooked and skipped.

Secondly, those who haven't read the book wouldn't have any Idea of the names of the members of the Order of the Phoenix, I think Nymphadora Tonks, has a scene in there, and then before they ride the broom going to the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix, some of the members should have been introduced to Harry in there.

Third, the part where Harry is learning occlumency, to prevent the leglimence spell, its kinda fast paced too, and I think all they've done in those scenes were to flash back Harry's memories. This part isn't well detailed and explained.. I guess the movie makers assumed that all the people who are gonna watch the movie, have already read the book. And will understand everything that will be shown in the movie.. 

Fourth, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, and Ginny Weasley.. in short those who have gone to the Ministry of Wizardry to get the prophecy, they've attacked the death eaters, they've done spells to the death eaters but none of them got damaged with death eater's spells. In the book, for what I can remember, most of them got injured by spells, wobbly legs, paralized etc. 

Fifth, the battle between Voldemort and Dumbledor… Yeah nice effects, yada yada… In the book that's not what happened. Dumbledor commanded the statues at the fountain to protect them, and in the book, Dumbledor seems to have the upper hand than Voldemort, but in the movie it seems that dumbledor is weaker.   blah blah blah…

On the other hand, effects were good, the actors and actresses were good,  and Bellatrix Lestrange appeared what I've imagined her to be… 

In my opinion this movie should be one of the most exciting part of the Harry Potter series, Death Eaters vs Dumbledor's Army and The Order of the Phoenix, what could be more exciting. but since a lot of things lack from this movie, I'd give it a Fair to a Satisfactory rating… That's it..
